Founded in 1921, St. Margaret’s is an Episcopal girls’ school for boarding and day, grades 8–12 plus a postgraduate year. Our historic campus on the banks of the Rappahannock River in Tappahannock, Virginia, is a welcoming learning environment for girls from across the country and around the world. St. Margaret’s is where girls know they belong, are challenged to believe in themselves, and prepared to become their best. We inspire girls to reach their full potential and make a better world. Take a guided tour of St. Margaret’s Hall c.1850, Brockenbrough House c. 1763, our river lawn, and see our collection of furnishings and art, including works by our students. Suggested donation is $10 per adult, cash, check or credit card. Children under 18 are free.
