Discover the Simple Beauty of a Small, Hard Working, Medicinal Herb Farm… Chckens, Herbs, Ducks and More! Exciting Plans…Check in often and WATCH US GROW!

Established in 1997, we are an off-grid capable, solar mini-farm, located in beautiful Mathews County, VA. Practicing all natural methods, we strive to be as self sustaining as possible. Only 5 acres, we are an example of how big things can be done in a small, eco-friendly way. Besides two large vegetable gardens, we maintain a flock of around 100 Rhode Island Red Chickens and a few Khaki Campbell Ducks, incubating and hatching our own chicks. We feed our birds a Non-GMO, Organic, Soy Free Feed. We sell our eggs on the Farm and at local places in Gloucester, VA. We are a young Herb Farm…growing and selling a large variety of culinary and medicinal herbs. We are selling in pots now, but are developing herbal beds that will supply you fresh cut herbs for cooking and teas in 2018. We are working to provide cut flowers, bedding plants, pollinator plants and microgreens soon. There are Bee Hives on the property and we sell the raw honey when available. Featured in the Barn Store: Baker Creek Heirloom Seed packs, Frontier Co-op Items, Forrest Green Farm Herbal Teas and Young Living Essential Oils & Products, and more! We are a small operation, so always check the website for the most current information before visiting us.

We are proud to be featured on the Middle Peninsula Artisan Trail. To visit and tour the Farm is free. Enjoy our “Barn Store”...shopping appreciated, but not required. We are closed to the Public for winter currently, but will reopen in February 2018. The new schedule will be posted on the website very soon.

We offer “Touch the Earth” Workshops one Saturday a month including Sage Smudging, Essential Oils applied, Herbal Wisdom Shared, Healthy Lifestyle Discussions, Food tasting, Farm Q&A and Young Living Essential Oils & Products and more! Please see the website for specific dates and details….click on the Farm & Workshop Calendar / Drum Circle / Directions Button. Healing Drum Circles now offered on the 3rd Friday of the month @ 7pm. Our new schedule will be posted on the website soon!

We want to share our Farm with YOU and hope you will enjoy our simple spot on the planet, finding it a natural place to relax and discover. We have picnic tables scattered around, so bring your lunch if you wish. We provide a well maintained Portapot with a hand washing station on the farm for your convenience. Do practice safety while visiting us and keep an eye on your children. Sorry, No smoking, alchohol or pets allowed on the Farm. Please, excuse a few weeds…we are not a Botanical Garden, but a working farm. We invite you to visit and experience a little bit of…“Life Close to Nature”.
