The C&O Railway Heritage Center is located in beautiful Clifton Forge, Va. at milepost 277 on the C&O Heritage and Tourism Trail. This historic rail site takes visitors on a journey of discovery via descriptive panels, artifacts, and multi-media exhibits, that traces the history of the railroad, the development of our nation and its transportation system as well as George Washington’s original survey from the Virginia Tidewater to the Ohio River.
