?Visit my c1787 Farmhouse Studio and check out our tedious renovation of the pioneer home/spring house that will be my new studio home (eventually). Excited to be saving this piece of Virginia history.

I have been creating sterling silver jewelry since 2002. In 2004, I obtained a bachelors degree in Art, with a painting concentration, from Castleton State College in Castleton, Vermont. Jewelry was a hobby that developed from my love to create. My passion for selling my creations spawned from opportunities vending at Farmers’ Markets in Vermont. I officially started my business in 2007.

In 2009, after moving to Harrisonburg to be near family, I began vending at markets and craft shows. I was lucky enough to meet my husband who was also vending at a market selling organic veggies. All of my jewelry designs are created on our farm in Singers Glen,VA. I am now the mother of two small children, and I am grateful every day to be able to do something I love and work at home.

I uses less traditional techniques to make my sterling silver jewelry. Every piece is made with a wire-wrapping technique that makes my jewelry durable and beautiful. Please look closely at the jewelry, as this will give you a better idea of how it is constructed. The wire is fun to manipulate and lends itself to many different applications. Other techniques used include soldering, hammering, stamping and oxidizing.

My passion for creating beautiful, strong and unique sterling silver and gemstone jewelry comes from my love for the natural world that surrounds us all. Growing up in rural Vermont gave me a deep appreciation for our mother earth. All of the materials used, the silver, the gemstones and the pearls are gifts from Her. My formal painting background has given me the elements and principles to produce unique combinations of colors and designs. All of my jewelry techniques are self-taught. I am grateful every day that I get to use my hands and work for myself making jewelry that people love and want to wear. I have worked hard to perfect the wire techniques and am always pushing myself to learn new skills.
