The Earthwalk Retreat is a unique overnight retreat or day trip venue, in historic Stafford county, just outside of Fredericksburg, Va, featuring gorgeous riverside woodlands and experiential classes in a new recreational therapy that is easy, fun and very good for you.

Visit, Bring a Picnic, Take a tour, Stay overnight And make sure you schedule a class in a simple sensory meditation practice in Nature that has been studied scientifically and shown to be very powerful and effective for clearing stress. And the upside of that is you feel much more relaxed and refreshed on your vacation.

Come learn how to get your Vitamin N. Deeply imbibe the atmosphere and enjoy the scenery.. Begin your trip here and you will get into that vacation state early on and keep it with you. You will deeply relax and you will feel the difference! Learn to Shift into Wine/Dine and Rest/Digest mode. Nature can teach you.

Bath yourself in the atmosphere of the beach/hardwood forest along a bold rocky stream. Feel the roots and stones under feet, and look up through the branches arching overhead. Listen to the water falling on the stones. No words, just breathing it all in, through the senses. This practice shifts our body/mind into a receptive relaxed but alert presence.

The natural beauty of Virginia’s stream side forest is inspiring and engaging. Just rest and receive for awhile. Lie back and let the earth support you, and look up into the vast network of branches and spaces of sky. Breathing in and filling up, until something stirs in you.

Maybe you want to write a haiku poem, or capture a beautiful picture. Maybe you want to meander down stream and see what is around the next bend. Take a flute or drum or rattle along and play to the breeze and the orchestra of flowing water sounds.

Join a fire circle and remember the goodness of sitting around a fire at night, listening to stories, singing to the moon or drumming together creating an amazing soundcape while all the forest listens and blesses.

Everyone attests to the richness of these experiences and the sense of hunger we have for this kind of activity in our otherwise busy and distracted lifestyles. The Perfect Vacation Retreat!
