Eastern Shore’s Own, Inc. (ESO) is a non-profit community arts center that provides opportunities for local artists to teach, practice, perform and to make the arts available to all residents of the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Founded in 1984 by Allen Derrick, a retired actor from New York and Joyce Holland, a local theater performer, ESO has grown to now hosting classes daily for children and adults including Ballet, Karate, Pottery, Music and Voice Lessons. ESO Live! is a 12 concert series focusing on local and regional Eastern Shore musicians and performances. ESO holds various festivals, events and workshops throughout the year. Stop by ESO during business hours to visit community space or participate in classes or performances weekly.
