Discover the possibilities of reclaimed wine barrels and other unique, custom woodworking. Reclaimed barrel works include Adirondack chairs, barstools, tables, porch swings, benches, fountains, and an assortment of smaller items such as votives, bottle openers, wall hangers, bottle balancers and more. Examples of most items are available for both viewing and purchase at the trail site.

Jumbo Bottom Barrel Works is a small, family-owned woodworking business headed by artisan John Bestwick. John specializes in reclaimed barrel creations and other unique, custom woodworking including furniture, cabinetry and built-ins. His work exemplifies quality craftsmanship and unique character while also being produced with environmental sustainability in mind. Most of his work is created from reclaimed wood, locally-sourced in Loudoun County, Virginia. The Jumbo Bottom workshop has an open, friendly atmosphere welcoming visitors to watch, learn, exchange ideas, and even hear an old-time fiddle tune as John is always ready to grab his fiddle.
