Come discover the absolute beauty, charm and romantic enchantment of this 1899 Victorian masterpiece, nestled in a grove of century old maples and chestnut trees with a veranda extended around most of the house with rockers and wicker located in the beautiful Allegheny Mountains in Bath County, Virginia near the famous Homestead Resort and golf courses. Built by Dr. Henry S. Pole a natural physician who was the first person to own an automobile in Bath County. The Kings Victorian Inn is tastefully decorated with antiques and 18th century reproduction and oriental carpets. Two parlors for guest to enjoy and breakfast served in the formal dining room. A wide arrange of lodging options from romantic, well appointed rooms in the historic main house to the secluded Honeymoon Cottage as well as 2,3 and 4 bedroom cottages great for families. Activities nearby range from chamber music at Garth Newel Music Center, championship golf courses, art galleries, beautiful hiking trails, fly fishing, canoeing, Lake Moomaw boating, Douthat State Park, mountain biking and mineral baths at the Jefferson Pools Winter activities include skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and ice skating.
