Enjoy folk art and early artisan history, plus a charming architectural tour. Also, a LOVEworks site!!

The Heritage Museum saves and shares the memories of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County found in objects, documents, photographs, and family trees.

Look for similar symbols on ironwork, in decorated fraktur documents, and other items in the Folk Art Gallery. Learn about early potters and walk through a kiln as you discover settlement history. Zoom in on the details of a beautiful panoramic painting to see the details of life in 1867 Harrisonburg or peruse the historic photo collection.

Just be sure to save time for the rest of the stories and a stroll along the lovely architecture of the Historic Dayton Walking Tour.
